Farewell to Garfield

My needy little Garfield has been relocated to a new home.
My heartfelt thanks to the couple who are willing to take him in.

When I reached home after sending Garfield off, I felt uncomfortable.
The house felt empty. No cat popping out from corners of the house to greet me.
It felt strange when now I don't have to close the door behind me wherever I go.
No call for attention or back scratch.
.
After living with them for such a short time. Their absence is strongly felt.
Nothing. No movement. No noise. I don't understand how I have lived 20 over yrs
without an animal by my side.

I hope that someday soon, I would have the luxury of time & money for a pet again.
