Life is good if U can taste good food

Recently came back from Penang (on business). Ate lots of good food & seafood.

Came back Singapore, a bit the 'sian'. U know what I mean!? Expensive food, poor taste, lousy service, long queue/ waitin time, etc..

Got busy again due to life commitments. Felt so darn miserable when I don't have 'me' time to chill.

Anyway, I was quite delighted when I came across fried intestine congee & raw sliced fish when I was shoppin at Parkway Parade. Man.... So freakin long never eat sia. Flash back to younger days when parents brought me to Chinatown to eat these. The raw sliced fish was a little disappointin though. None the less it was generally good.

Mon came & the people in general dragged our bodies to work as a routin.

Tue was school night & I resisted temptations to "just do it" & 'pontang' class. Seeing that it was a tutorial, I forced my weary ass down to school. Crude, class room is at Ngee Ann poly so I had to walk darn long from SIM. Settle in and when the lecturer open his mouth to teach.... I almost 'peng'. Bloody *TOOT* !!! China man can't speak proper 'ang mo' leh. Blood started to boil. I keep tellin myself to Endure, but after a while I 'tak boleh tahan' anymore. Told my friend that I will leave during break time.

So.... when break time came & the China man did not show sigh of stoppin, I took a plastic cup & walked out. (Wa, pay so much sch fee sure must take the snack & drink some tea lah.) Well, I wasn't the first to leave anyway.... So, I didn't feel embaresses or anything.

The only perk for Tues was the wonderful claypot liver I had for dinner. I ate this at Clementi. I found that coffee shop just opened a botak Jones francise there but I wasn't very tempted.... I used to frequent a claypot liver stall elsewhere till it closed.... So being able to find another good stall was really a perk to my spirit.

Wed. Mid week. Middle of nowhere. Went through my routine in office till I was preparing some documents that needed to be by registered post. Made my way to the post office when it started to rain (smart as i was, i came prepared with umbrella). Feelin kinda cold & my lips got wet when I remembered that en-route to the post office, I will pass by this really nice Chinese mutton soup. This is the perfect weather for it. Aw.... (burp!)

Life would really be miserable if we didn't have good food to perk us up every 6 hrs or so.
