Month of November

Its been a while since my last update. This month is packed full with events.

13th Nov
Maths II exam
Mood: Jia Lat
I really should have more faith in the lecturer. He gave so much useful notes in his exam tips. I focused too much on the chapters instead of the exact hints. (REGRET big time) Its all done & over. (Praying for a pass.)

Back to work
Mood: Used & abused
I have been engrossed in studying that I didn't even open the mail. My wife opened it on the night of my exam. She handed me a letter from office after I returned from my exams. Damn shack & disappointed with the paper, I was not emotionally prepared to read the letter. It stated that since I had no intention of commiting to the the company long term (Jap culture) and a replacement had already been found, the company advise me to *pack up & go* by the end of the month.

Being a nice guy, I was honest enuff to tell my boss (some mths back) that I will not stay in the company for long so he should find a replacement. When the new guy came, my boss hoped that I could stay till after the new year as he needed time to train the new guy + the work load was substantial... I agreed. I never expected him to send me packing with such short notice.

He always say that people must learn to give and take. So I gave him time to find a new guy. I gave time and effort to teach him the ropes. He took all to his advantage and dismissed me without time to look for job & without end of year bonus.

I wouldn't felt this betrayed if I wasn't close to him but he really disappointed me. Especially the part where he couldn't talk to me but instead sent a letter. Thats really cold.

House Warming
Mood: Perky
Yeah, time to meet up with frens & family for a round of food & drinks. We decided to split the house warming into 2 session. This is the 1st session for church frens, old classmates, sch frens, her family. My family will be coming over during Christmas. (stomach growling.... thinking of.... food)
