Macro photography trip 16/10/09 @ Pasir Ris Park

Was trying to find a clear path towards some flowers when I saw these crawlers. Made my hair stands on ends. Got to siam them to reach the flowers but took photos of them non the less.

Chubby mud skippers enjoying the sun sand and sea.

Was hunting for spiders when the sudden movement of this lizard made my heart skip a beat.

Bright red. How to miss?

Of all the small insects I took that day, this has got to be the sharpest. If I zoom in to 100% in photoshop, I could see the razor sharp teeth. Now I know why it hurts so bad when we get bitten by red ants.

Caught this spider dragging his morning breakfast home.

Yes! My favorite spider shot. Oh, I just love the lurking feeling & the green & red eyes are just beautiful.

This handsome fella made me very happy. All the other insects I taken are less than a cm in size & focusing was a PITA. This fella just sat on his branch and let me shot with flash & didn't budge at all. Got many shots but loved this head shot the best.

No, there is no lion at Pasir Ris park. Just an orange tabby that was camera shy. I luv mao mao!
