Soft Spot: ROM-ed

A joyous occasion today. Today me and my girlfriend got ROM-ed. Ha, goofy me just can't stop using Singlish .... Its been a long time since we paired off. Every year, during all sorts of gathering people will ask me when gettin married !? Every year I will reply "not yet lah !" .... Well this year different reply liao loh. If they are observant, they might spot my ring 1st or for those frens who read my blog will also get to know loh. Especially those few frens which are overseas & dun bother to send me mail like they promised (US, UK, Aust, ect..) .... Hope you read this - (You all owe me big ang bao. Dun try to siam. I will be at the airport waitin for you when U return.) Heh heh.... Jokes aside, I want to say a big THANK YOU all those frens who assisted 1 way or another to help.

Yes, this is the ring that sat on an airplane from SK Italy workshop to fly in specially for my finger. The story behind the ring for me was pretty funny. The sales guy said that the trial ring fitted & asked me to swing my hand hard & assured me it was ok. Yah right .... U should see his expression when this white gold ring flew and bounced across the shop's floor. It hit a cabinet or it would have continued out of the store. He then tried to look for a smaller size but no stock. No prob., we will get it from our workshop. It will definately arrive b4 the big day. He claimed. Sweat drop leh .... Dun come I jia lat leh. Ok, lah. Trust him lah .... (came 4 days b4 ROM.)

Wa.... after all the guest left, its finally time to head to the hotel room & relax loh. It was small & simple event and only close family members were invited. (Note : I have to write this so that frens will stop sms-ing me & scold for not inviting them .... blah blah blah .... Dun worry lah, still got church wedding & banquet leh. Just save $$$ for my ang bao lah. Sure invite U all wan lah.) The room veri nice. Got nice jacuzzi and a side panel that open into the main room so U can enjoy cable TV while U nua in the tub. Also got complementary wine for us to celebrate.

My stomach was rubbling after the shower .... but already 8+ .... Still got food a not !? I was contemplating if I should eat some stuff from the bar counter when my wife found the menu for the room service. (What will I do without her !? The bar counter food is so darn expensive. cup noodle cost S$4 !!!) So we ordered food, drank the wine & watched cable. Wa .... Can't remember when was the last time I had a break from work. (Oh, just in case U were wondering. I have never used any leave or taken any M.C in my working life till this year. This year no choice, have to take leave to sign doc. for HDB & ROM.)
